The opportunity to learn from others and interact in a common cause is the primary reason we join an association. Through workshops, training seminars, publications, and other networking and contact opportunities, we improve our skills and ability to better perform our professional tasks. Within our Rocky Mountain Region, we share similar professional interests and challenges with others all along the Rocky Mt. corridor. As a national organization, we are part of the overriding value of interpretation. Personal benefit will increase as our organization continues to gain strength. And as with any organization, the more we become involved and contribute, the more we will individually and collectively benefit from our membership.

The specific operational objectives for the NAI/Rocky Mt. Region
are to:

  • Continue to establish the NAI/Rocky Mt. Region as a viable forum and professional resource for interpreters and others.
  • Increase member involvement and interaction.
  • Increase and broaden the Rocky Mt. Region membership base.
  • Increase awareness of NAI and its purpose.
  • Support NAI national objectives and provide regional input.
